Buongiorno e buona Domenica a tutti!
Anche quest'anno, come sempre, ho partecipato all'evento di archeologia sperimentale "Dalla preistoria all'età dei metalli", curato da un caro amico di Macerata.
Giunto alla sua quinta edizione, l'evento ha da un paio d'anni raggiunto la completezza cronologica, in quanto vede riuniti appassionati che lavorano un gran numero di materiali, come selce, osso, legno, cibo, bronzo e ferro. Si spazia dunque dal Paleolitico all'Età del Ferro, di cui mi occupo personalmente. Inoltre, quest'anno erano presenti alcuni banchetti didattici interattivi, per intrattenere i più piccoli, che trattavano temi aggiuntivi come la pittura rupestre, i fischietti e la manifattura dell'argilla.
Sempre spettacolari le fusioni del bronzo, per quanto riguarda il ferro mi sono dedicato alla forgiatura della spada corta di tipo Novilara, che ho terminato con un'ottima tempera.
Ora lascio spazio alle foto, perchè possiate immergervi nell'atmosfera fuori dal tempo che si respira nella fantastica cornice del parco dell'Abbadia di Fiastra!

As always, even this year I joined a meeting on experimental archaeology, called "From prehistory to the metal age", organized by a close friend living in the nearby town of Macerata.
This was the fifth edition of the event, that has reached a chronological completeness it's been a couple of years: there're enthusiasts working a great number of materials such as flint, bone, wood, food, bronze and iron. The time limit goes then from the Paleolithic to the Iron Age, which I represent. Plus, there were some interactive didactical banquets this year, to amuse the youngest and let them deal with cave paintings, whistles and clay working.
Being bronze meltings the most spectacular activities, for what concerns iron I dedicated myself to forge the Novilara type short sword, which I finished with a perfect quench.
I'm now leaving room to the pictures, so that you can feel the out-of-time atmosphere that you breathe in the fantastic frame of the Abbadia di Fiastra park.
